The newly sworn in Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Chief Bosun Osaloni has hosted an inaguration party expressing his gratitude to the people of the council area for their unalloyed support that led to his returning for a second term as the council Chairman.
The big event held at Sadiat Hotel Irona Ado Ekiti on Thursday was a combination of taste, class and glamour as the political gathering featured who is who in Ado politics including the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaja Dr, Habibat Adubiaro and a host of others.
Also top officials of the council led by the HLA Elder Ajidahun, the directors, and legislative arm graced the occasion that was full of fun, music and dance.
The elated Chairman who was sworn in with his colleagues earlier in the day by the State Governor for a three year tenure told our correspondent in a chat that he was prepared to rededicate himself to work harder for the delivery of democratic dividends to the people of Ado Local Government.
“I want to specially thank the good people of Ado Local Government for the privilege given to me this second term as the executive Chairman. I also express my profound gratitude to all the people working with me in the running of the council area for their support and encouragement over time and particularly our able Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji who is laying a solid foundation for the development of Ekiti State through his people friendly policies.
“However, I want to use this opportunity to assure the people of our commitment to serve them the more in the areas of good governance and provision of democracy dividends even as I urge them to support and pray for us”. He said.
