400 NIGERIANS DEPORTED FROM UAE ARRIVE ABUJA

Four hundred Nigerians deported from the United Arab Emirates, UAE, have arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The Nigeria Television Authority, NTA, on X, formerly Twitter, said the deportees were received by officials from the Office of the National Security Adviser, in collaboration with the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons; the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons NAPTIP, and the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA.

NTA stated that “400 Nigerians, including 90 females and 310 males, have been deported from the United Arab Emirates, UAE, back to Nigeria.

“They were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja by the office of the National Security Adviser in collaboration with the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, NAPTIP, NEMA and other stakeholders.”
