In a bid to raise awareness on the devastating impact of substance abuse and its attendant consequence such as mental health disorder, the Yoruba Community Association, YCA, Toronto Canada has organized a virtual conference with the theme: “The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Disorders”
The zoom meeting scheduled to hold on Saturday April 19, 2025 between 5 to 7pm. Nigerian time.
In a press statement signed by the President of Yoruba Community Association in Canada, Mr Kehinde Abiodun, the statement reads; “The Yoruba Community Association YCA Toronto, Canada presents a zoom conference with the topic: The Association of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Disorders. “The guest speaker of the occasion is Dr Abiola Oshodi, a psychiatrist, while Mrs Ayodeji Ikotun, who doubles as the General Secretary, Ekiti Kete (Canada) will be the moderator.

She holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from University of Ibadan and PGD in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Seneca College and two-term General Secretary, Ekiti Kete Canada Association.
