A prominent Ekiti agripreneur and CEO of MAO Organic Farms, Emure, Mr.Dele Okunoye has joined many Ekiti indigenes in congratulating the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on the Silverbird’s Man of the Year award describing the feat as “an honour due to an exemplary and visionary leader”
Okunoye stated this in a congratulatory message he signed and made available to our correspondent on Friday.
His words: “I join other well meaning Ekiti sons and daughters in congratulating our God fearing and people oriented Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for winning the prestigious Silverbird’s Man of the Year award bringing honour and respect to our dear state.
“I am proud to say that this is an honour due to an exemplary and visionary leader which was being recognised and acknowledged by a credible organisation outside Ekiti State.
Continuing, the Emure-Ekiti based farmer said; “This award is not just a personal recognition but a loud statement of the remarkable achievements of Oyebanji in the areas of good governance, infrastructure upgrade, agric revolution as boldly stated in your administration’s six pillars agenda for Ekiti people.
“I once again, congratulate you on this remarkable achievement wishing you good health and more wisdom to steer the ship of our dear State to the promise land till 2031”
Okunoye, whose company brought smiles to the faces of Ekiti residents late last year by releasing over 100 bags of garri at subsidized rate to the markets, also lauded Governor Oyebanji’s aggressive agric policy in Ekiti saying that the end results of government interventions in Agric would bring about food sufficiency in the next harvest season.
“According to him, “As one of the beneficiaries of Gov BAO’s agric revolution, I can only express my heartfelt appreciation to Mr Governor for the various interventions he has made and continues to make in making the business of farming attractive to the youths and young adults like the rescent construction of dormitories for farmers at Eporo and the introduction of cluster farming. This portends good omen for the state in the next harvest season in terms of food sufficiency and plenty profits for farmers”. He concluded.
