The week-long program which commenced on Monday July 7th 2025, was a showpiece of impactful and spirit filled encounter with Jesus through ministration by powerful men of God from Tuesday till Thursday while Monday was set aside for Christian Social Responsibility, a core community service featuring medical outreach, free drugs, filling of potholes and distribution of free foods to the needy within the neighborhood.

Friday’s ‘Night of Gratitude’ was simply awesome as the night was dedicated solely for praise worship and giving thanks to God Almighty for the milestone achievement the church was able to record from its humble beginning fifteen years ago.
The host choristers led by Sister Monisola Adebayo gave a good account of themselves in a superlative presentation filled with songspiration, pomp and sartorial elegance as they thrilled the audience with many songs from the rich repertoire of their collections
Other invited guests who added value and entertainment to the colourful event included EKSU Winners Fellowship, Ekiti Region 25 Dialect Troupe, Evangelist Omowumi, Akobi Global amongst others.

One of the high points of the memorable night was a grand performance by the highly respected National Praise Team from Lagos headquarters of the RCCG who enliven the church’s congregation with rendition of several soul lifting gospel tunes and theatrical stage performance to the amazement of all the jubilant audience as the event run through the early hours of Saturday.
Not a few people confessed to having an exciting time in God’s presence while the program lasted as Pastor Simeon Adeniyi gave the vote of thanks.

Predictably, Sunday July 13, the grand finale of the anniversary celebration was a beehive of activities such as ministration, reunion, presentation of awards to founding members of the church as well as ‘item 7”
Pastor Tunde Adelusi, the guest minister who preached on the topic; Alpha and Omega urged believers to see God as the Ancient of days, One that reigneth for ever, the Beginning and the Ending and the only Consuming fire, noting that there is power in God’s word and in Him is life.
“This our Alpha and Omega is so faithful in his ways. This King of Glory is the Alpha and Omega, the Lord of hosts, all powers belong to Him. He’s the only one that shuts that no man can open and when he opens no one dares to shut”

The man of God charged his listeners to appreciate God at all times.
His words; “That you are alive today is by the grace and mercy of God. Can you pay for the air you are breathing for the number of years you have spent on earth?. As we speak, many people are paying for oxygen in the hospitals. So brothers and sisters, more than anything, try to appreciate God.
“As the Alpha and Omega, He knows the source of your problems. Just relax, how God will do it is in his hand because he knows the source of the problem and He knows how to fight for you and your family because the battle is not yours it is of the Lord”. He concluded
At the end of the brief exhortation, many people gave their lives to Christ during the alter call.

Earlier, Pastor (Bishop) Aluko one of the foundation members of the Parish in his address, traced the history of the church back to fifteen years ago.
According to him; “We all came to church as usual precisely second Sunday of the month. This church came up as a regular church planting during either Easter or Christmas. However, the planting of this church did not follow any of these occasions.
” We all went for Workers meeting at the camp and there, our father in the Lord emphasized the need to plant more churches. So, our Provincial Pastor then, took it upon himself and said we should do something. Immediately we came back, he informed our then Parish Pastor in person of Pastor Mike Owoyemi” he explained.

Continuing, Pastor Aluko said the establishment of the church was by surprise. His words;
“Personally, I didn’t have any privy about that information. On Monday morning as we gathered in the church for Workers meeting, the Pastor just picked the microphone and said if you are living around Egbewa or NTA, come out. We don’t know what was happening but faithfully, we all stood up and came out. It was after then that we heard we are going to start a church today. At where? He said he has come to the NLC House and they have agreed to lease their Hall.
” We were about eight families present on that day including Pastor Onasanya, Mummy Adeagbo, Mummy Adeleye, Dele Falayi, Pastor Akindele, Mummy Dairo who though, not living in Egbewa but volunteered that she would join us.
It was then that the announcement was made that Pastor Abraham Nelson was going to be the Parish Pastor. So we came and that was how we started.

“Like play, like play, the church started growing and before we knew it, in three months, we started becoming a big church and in six months, when our moratorium would have expired, we were being announced as a Mega church and that was where we started till we are where we are today”

In a similar vein, all segments of the church including the children, youths, Excellent Men and Good Women filed out to minister in special songs.
The host Pastor of the Livingstone Mega Parish, Pastor Abraham Titiloye in his vote of thanks, called out members of the Anniversary Planning Committee. He commended them for a job well done and prayed for them.
He lauded all the past ministers of God before him for laying a good foundation for the church through which he built upon, going forward.
As the special thanksgiving service was going to a close, Pastor Tunji Onasanya moderated the reunion/special award presentation to eight distinguished founding members of the church for their invaluable contributions to the church growth.
The 15th anniversary of the church was indeed, a glorious outing.
