A faith-based Non-governmental organization, Islamisgood Care Foundation has expressed gratitude to Allah for His mercy, guidance, protection and provisions in past years.
The Foundation in a press statement congratulating Muslims globally on the new Islamic calendar year Hijrah 1447, thanked all kind hearted Muslims who have stood by the Foundation over the years as it strives to make more impacts on humanity especially the Muslim community.
The group initiated by a popular Ekiti State based journalist, Alhaji Qozeem Oladapo said the main focus of the Foundation is fund raising/ charity for vulnerable Muslims especially women and voluntary /free matchmaking for Muslims men and women.
The group now christened Islamisgood Care Foundation had in the past donated television and other gadgets to the Ekiti State Correctional Center mosque and also helped in erecting an overhead tank as well as constructed an ablution spot at the mosque to alleviate the stress Muslim inmates go through while trying to observe their daily obligatory prayers
Aside that, the Foundation had helped a couple of other mosques in toilet projects while it also boasts of at least 27 successful marriages through the platform known as Muslim Spouse Seekers Forum (MSSF) which is an arm of the Foundation.
While noting that a lot had been achieved within the limited available resources provided by donors and philanthropists, Islamisgood Care Foundation coordinator, Alhaji Oladapo said many sick patients had been treated while widows and orphans had been financially assisted even as school fees of indigents had been offset through funds raised by kind hearted muslims within Ekiti State and beyond.
Going forward, the coordinator said it had been the ambition and aspiration of the managers of the non-profit making religious organization to step up and improve on its modus operandi with a view to making more impacts, gaining more feasibility and having access to more supports to reach more vulnerable Muslims, hence the organization has now set it’s feet on the path to greatness by registering with the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
The organization which has the duo of Qozeem Olawale Oladapo as Chairman and Hidayah Moromoke Abdulazeez as Secretary also has other Team members in various parts of Southwest Nigeria.
In a bid to ensure the attainment of the vision of the managers towards expanding the scope and reach of Islamisgood Care Foundation, the coordinator said a weekly radio program shall be aired on a new private radio station in Ekiti State known as Ebi Nla Radio 102.3FM every Friday.
He said the radio program is conceived and designed in view of the similarities in the vision and foresight of both islamisgood Care Foundation and Ebi Nla Radio at touching lives and helping humanity voluntarily.
Islamisgood Care Foundation Team which has officials in Ekiti, Ibadan, Osogbo, Akure, Lagos and Ilorin also hopes to project and promote it’s activities via other conventional and social media platforms forthwith.
It however solicited continued prayers, support and steadfastness from the general public, philanthropists, Local and international Charity organizations in a bid to touch more lives positively and uplift the downtrodden souls.
