Tuesday was a day to remember by the good people of Ilawe Ekiti, headquarters of Ekiti South West Local Government as Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his Kogi State counterpart, Ahmed Usman Ododo led other dignitaries to commission two major projects namely; Ikere-Ilawe road and the renovated and equipped general hospital, Ilawe.
Governor Ododo who performed the official commissioning in his capacity as the Special Guest of Honour at the event, hailed Governor Oyebanji’s development strides across sectors.
The Royal Father of the town, HRM Oba Adebanji Alabi, expressed appreciation of the people of the town in his brilliantly delivered speech at the event, pledging unflinching suport of the town for the BAO administration.
