Public and Private primary and secondary schools in Ekiti state are to resume on Monday 5th, January for the second term of the 2025/2026 academic session
A statement made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti by the State Commissioner for Education, Dr Olabimpe Aderiye Ado Ekiti stated that the resumption is in accordance with the approved calendar for the academic year.
Aderiye said all teachers and learners are expected to resume school on the announced date as academic activities are expected to commence immediately.
She stressed that the State Government would continue to provide the direction and regulations needed for excellent outcomes from schools, noting that the resumption marks a new chapter as students are expected to engage in various academic and extracurriculars activities throughout the term, with the State poised for a more productive year in education.
