The Ekiti State House of Assembly has announced its decision to proceed on annual recess.
The announcement which was conveyed to the general public in a press statement signed by Hon. Babatunde Oke, Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs stated that the House will proceed on recess with effect from Wednesday, 13th August, 2025 noting that the date of resumption will be officially communicated by the Speaker in due course.
According to the statement, “The recess is designed to enable Honourable Members to return to their various constituencies, interact with constituents, and address local issues in line with their legislative and representative duties.
“The House appreciates the continued cooperation and support of the good people of Ekiti State and reaffirms its commitment to effective lawmaking, quality representation and service delivery.”
