AMOTEKUN ARREST TWO SUSPECTS FOR STEALING GOAT IN EKITI

The Ekiti State Amotekun Corps has apprehended two suspects; Oluwasegun Ayomide lge, 22, and hailing and Kamorudeen Badamosi Adamu, 20, at lfaki-Ekiti.

The duo were arrested on Wednesday 18th March, 2026 by the Amotekun Operatives at ldo-Osi Local Government Area Command, for their alleged involvement in the stealing of a goat, belonging to Mr. Dada Aseju who resides in the same town with the first suspect, Oluwasegun Ayomide lge

Preminary investigations by the arresting Officers revealed that Oluwasegun has long been a notorious thief in the town until Nemesis finally caught up with him while his co-partner in crime-Kamorudeen Badamosi has always buy all the stolen items from his friend.

Upon further investigation, the duo remorsefully confessed to the alleged crime, adding that their involvement in stealing is to earn some money for their upkeep.

In a statement signed by the Command’s spokesperson, Adeleye Abiodun, the two suspects, including their exhibit have since been handed over to the Rapid Response Squad- RRS of the Ekiti State Police Command, Ado-Ekiti for further investigation and prosecution.
