Sharing a proud moment for Ekiti State, the ALGON Chairman and Ekiti East Local Government, Hon. Olusegun Ojo Chairman of Ekiti East Local Government has lauded the State Government, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for it’s outstanding achievement especially on transparency in governance.
The commendation came on the announcement of Ekiti as the Best State in Nigeria on the Transparency Index for the fourth Quarters of year 2024, as released by the BudgiT Foundation by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Hon. Ojo hailed the recognition, as a direct result of Governor Oyebanji’s unwavering commitment to open governance, fiscal discipline, and inclusive leadership.
“This achievement is not just a feather in the cap of the State Government, but a reflection of the Governor’s transparent policies and people-centred governance. Ekiti State is now a model for others to follow, and we are proud to be part of this legacy.” Hon. Ojo stated.
He further, reaffirmed ALGON’S support for the State government’s developmental strides and assured continued collaboration between the State and Local Government structures, to sustain the momentum of good governance across all levels.
Hon. Olusegun Ojo, concluded that the Ekiti State top ranking, underscores a broader national call for fiscal accountability, and this milestone signals the hope for progressive reforms and developmental initiatives across the Country.
