The Chairman, Ado North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mrs. Olatokunbo Gbadamosi, held a vital meeting with the village Chiefs in the council area, aimed at strengthening ties between the government, council and traditional leaders, as well as identifying pressing needs within the communities.
Mrs. Gbadamosi seized the occasion to commend the village heads, for their unwavering support for Governor ‘BAO and Local Government authorities.

The community chiefs, who came from different farmsteads in Ado North including: Irasa, Ika, Ilokun, Aaye, Ijaye and Iso commended the Ekiti State Governor, HE, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for his transparent style of leadership and his implementation of people’s oriented programmes.
They equally lauded the Council’s Chairman, Mrs. Gbadamosi, urging her to continue in her developmental initiatives, which they said, have endeared her to the people, of the council area.
The Chiefs took turns to outline the areas of needs, of their respective communities to include, grading of their roads; staffing and equipping of their health centre; electricity installation and upgrading one of their primary schools to a secondary school, to expand educational opportunities, in the farmsteads.

Responding, Hon. Olatokunbo Gbadamosi assured the Chiefs that the council would work diligently in addressing such needs. She also promised to contact and forward their requests to the relevant State organs and to prioritise projects in line with the State Government development goals.
The meeting ended with the Council’s management and the Chiefs, reiterating their commitment to collaborative governance and shared vision for the progress and prosperity of Ekiti State and Ado North Local Council Development Area at large.
