In a bid to ameliorate the deplorable situation of some roads in his domain ahead of the raining season, the Chairman of Ado North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Olatokunbo Gbadamosi, has began a massive grading of township roads in the council with a view to improving the overall infrastructure and boosting economic development.
The Chairman while flagging off the projects, said, the project was in tandem with the 6-Point Agenda, of the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, which prioritises infrastructure development, among key areas.
According to the Council Chairman, the projects are top in the Council’s development plans, reiterating her unavowed commitment in executing people oriented initiatives, charging the residents to intensify efforts in supporting the State and local Government authorities.
The Council’s Vice Chairman, who is the Chairman of the Road Grading Committee, Hon. Kolade Ogunsakin, lauded Hon. Gbadamosi, for the initiatives, and gave a full assurance of working conscientiously in overseeing the projects and ensuring their successful completion.
The people of the benefitting communities – Olorunda, Irewumi, Ikingbinsin, Federal Housing, Similoluwa, Olorunsogo and Ayemi, apparently elated, trooped out in their large numbers, eulogising the State Governor and the Chairman, stating how the projects have brought joy and relief, promising to reciprocate the kind gesture.
