A lecturer at the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Dr. Olugbenga Oke Samuel has raised the alarm for the rescue of abducted fresh Law graduate, Dare Isaac Ajewole who was said to be inside the kidnappers den in the past two weeks.
The university Don, who is the Dean, Faculty of Law in the university, sent the S.O.S message in his verified Facebook account at the weekend titled: “HELP RESCUE DARE ISAAC AJEWOLE FROM THE DEN OF KIDNAPPERS”.
Olugbenga in a post said;
“Dare Isaac was my student in the faculty of law of Adekunle Ajasin University.
“| know Dare to be a struggling young man. He battled against poverty and wants for years before he could complete his LLB programme in the faculty. As a matter of fact, he could not graduate as at when due, because of poverty. He equally had challenges at the Nigerian Law School until he was eventually called to the Nigerian Bar a few days ago. It was therefore heartbreaking to read from the news that this struggling young man was kidnapped on his way from the Call to Bar ceremony around Kabba in Kogi State. As a matter of fact | know his family members are not in a position to raise money for his release from the den of his kidnappers.
” I’m using this opportunity to appeal to the Ekiti State Government (his home state) under Governor BAO, Nigeria Bar Association, Political leaders, Senior Advocates, public spirited individuals , senior lawyers to please help in securing his release”. The statement reads.
